Reconnect 

We will use ancient Ayurvedic principles and everyday functional routines and practices to reconnect to the woman that you deserve to be: energetic, exuding vitality, and worthy of self-love.

I’ve had my health journey as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach and a Certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor. Through my discovery and explorations, I’ve realized that Ayurveda is the approach to long-term wellness.

We often hear of boot camps, energy pills, or diet overhauls as the “fix” to our energy problems. Through my practice, I’ve learned that we need a compassionate approach to loving ourselves, including taking care of our bodies and reaching our higher selves through simple habits.

We don’t have to give in to daily emotions and temptations that get us off track – we don’t have to be in survival mode.

Loving yourself is the mantra for self-care. Over time we have disconnected and been lacking in self-love on a mental and physical level. We don’t love ourselves or our bodies. We abuse, neglect, and ignore – or maybe you forgot how to exercise self-love. It shows up in everything that you do – making you feel overwhelmed instead of enjoying life.

Program Details

My Ayurvedic program is individualized and tailored to meet you where you are in your health journey, with my unique approach to western medicine and the eastern science of Ayurveda. I have created this one-of-a-kind program that sets you on the right path, sets you up for long-term weight loss, helps manages stress, and creates a plan unique to your body chemistry.

Ayurveda believes we are born perfect with our unique body composition (Dosha) and, over time, with environmental stressors and factors, we develop imbalances in our body. These imbalances are excess body weight, chronic illnesses like Rheumatoid Arthritis, GI tract issues, etc. By learning about our Dosha, we uncover the cause of the imbalances or the roots. These roots create a supportive, nurturing environment that brings us closer to our natural state of balance.

In the six sessions, you will learn:

  • How to manage stress right now during a pandemic, WFH, online schools, and deal with the holidays.
  • How and why physical health affects your mental health and the easiest ways to get started even if you don’t have the motivation.
  • Why self-care is a must-do right now and ideas on how to feel good starting today.
  • Learn exactly why you feel more sleepy and tired and ways to reign in the burnout state.
  • Natural foods and ingredients to start adding to replenish your body, keep blood sugar steady, and improve digestion.
  • Learn about foods and herbs that support your body type.
  • Cooking lessons to better support the needs of your body and your wellbeing.
  • Non-traditional practices like breathing techniques and meditation to support mind-body wellness.
  • Mindset work. Affirmations. Positive psychology to make a long-lasting impact on your health and wellness.

Learn about emotional eating. There is a difference between eating to feed ourselves and eating to gratify ourselves when digging deeper into your relationship with food.

Terminology

Ayurveda: The science of life, an ancient Indian medicinal system. Ayurveda is both intuitive and straightforward. Ayurvedic principles are not one-size-fits-all wellness. Ayurveda understands that each of us is unique and different when it comes to balance and health. How do you pronounce Ayurveda? Eye-Yur-Veda.

Dosha: Your Ayurvedic mind-body type or combination of earth elements: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. By understanding your Dosha, you can determine your unique lifestyle plan for the balance.
